The supporters of Simblanca FC booed when Chorillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Onbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Enekoitz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fernan Petrigai sent off a good shot on target. Rene Enekoitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flavio Bikendi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Dionisio Onbera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Dolfos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Simblanca FC's Flavio Bikendi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Petrigai got free with Rene Enekoitz in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Chorillo AFC's zone, Fernan Petrigai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Enekoitz came out of the goal and Fernan Petrigai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Enekoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Petrigai's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Chorillo AFC's Dionisio Onbera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prospero Dolfos. Prospero Dolfos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Simblanca FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
