The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Atauri to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ferri's Esteban Ixaka got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Julian Mede came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ferri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Mede couldn't finish the play. If Paulo Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Independiente Rivadavia's Tobias Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Atauri in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Silvio Lonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente Rivadavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferri the free kick.
