Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teofilo Shepherd got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute Cristobal Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Miranda AFC's zone, Marcelo Argenis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Bingen came out of the goal and Marcelo Argenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guido Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Frances, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmira AFC's goalkeeper Guido Perico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Placido Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Bingen having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mauricio Gabon hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 60th match minute, Miranda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Llope to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Osvaldo Bingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Miranda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Calvet to maneuver through the defense. Guido Perico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Guido Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Placido Macario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmira AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Teofilo Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
