With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Sotil in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Resto saved Almafuerte AFC from getting behind. Ambrosio Sotil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Resto having to make a save. When Teodoro Pello came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Médano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Pello couldn't finish the play. Angelo Demesio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Grabiel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Demesio ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelo Demesio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Eloy Grabiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almafuerte AFC. Mauro Lleir kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Pablo Resto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Pello, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Almafuerte AFC's Pablo Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Sotil in the 26th minute of play. Pablo Resto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Pello's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The supporters of Médano AFC booed when Almafuerte AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Muno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Teodoro Pello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Gelacio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Benigno Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Eloy Grabiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Demesio in the 53rd minute of the match. Angelo Demesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eloy Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Grabiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Médano AFC's Teodoro Pello got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Sotil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Médano AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
