The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Angelo Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Almafuerte AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristo Blasi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Aureliano Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Blasi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Pablo Resto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Almafuerte AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristo Blasi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristo Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Resto having to interfere. A collision led to Almafuerte AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fermin Gelacio hit a great ball. Pablo Resto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Fermin Gelacio charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Gelacio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Almafuerte AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fermin Gelacio hit a great ball. Aureliano Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pablo Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Ramos having to interfere. Pablo Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Ugutz in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Almafuerte AFC's Fermin Gelacio got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Fermin Gelacio off the ground. After 59 played minutes Ambargasta got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Elixio. 62 minutes into the game, Aureliano Ugutz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pablo Resto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Almafuerte AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Santo Gustau hit a great ball. When Ambargasta's Aureliano Ugutz in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sergio Nuñez hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Cristo Blasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Resto having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Ugutz in the 92nd minute of play forced Almafuerte AFC's goalkeeper Pablo Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aureliano Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Blasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Resto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Almafuerte AFC's Pablo Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Ugutz in the 98th minute of play. Almafuerte AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ambargasta had controlled the match.
