After having played for 39 minutes, Cristobal Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampolla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Espinillos AFC's Marcelo Euloxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Espinillos AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Espinillos AFC's Honorio Egun got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Barbosa in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Euloxu saved Espinillos AFC from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Marcelo Euloxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes of play Espinillos AFC's Norberto Barros was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Espinillos AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Norberto Barros hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Espinillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Roland came free, but Marcelo Euloxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Ampolla FC's goalkeeper Damaso Bizen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Egun. After a rather tough play, Ampolla FC's Cristobal Barbosa got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Guaberto Roland came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ampolla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Roland couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, Ampolla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Lia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Silvio Orlanda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristobal Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ampolla FC's Damaso Bizen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Ampolla FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Egun got free with Damaso Bizen in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Leon Egun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
