Ampolla FC's Lisandro Arnas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sayate. Lucio Edorta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Damaso Bizen made a huge save. A hard shot 8 in the game by Lucio Edorta from a close distance when the talented Damaso Bizen managed to make a qualified save. Ampolla FC's players were relieved. The supporters of Sayate booed when Ampolla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Bizen having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Cristobal Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sayate's Dante Cordarrel got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmacio Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Damaso Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Omero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, one of Sayate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sayate. Sayate:s Angelino Frechoso showed great skill when he stopped Lisandro Arnas:s penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucio Edorta was the one to do the kick off. Angelino Frechoso made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Guaberto Roland sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Barbosa in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sayate's Agustin Leobardo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ampolla FC's Lisandro Arnas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angelino Frechoso but with some difficulty. Cristobal Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Frechoso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Barbosa in the 72nd minute of play forced Sayate's goalkeeper Angelino Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Roland got free with Angelino Frechoso in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 85 played minutes Sayate got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Ponce. Guaberto Roland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Angelino Frechoso made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Cristobal Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Bizen having to interfere. The Ampolla FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ampolla FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
