Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cristobal Barbosa made the kick off and thus started the match. Angelino Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Augusto Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Leocadio's late challenge caught a Ampolla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Leocadio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Martin Leocadio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Ampolla FC's Lisandro Arnas tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute Cristobal Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guaberto Roland came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ampolla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Roland couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Barbosa in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Mel saved Margarita from getting behind. Margarita's Augusto Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Barbosa in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Roland in the 26th minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Augusto Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristobal Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Romulo Cordaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampolla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Margarita the free kick. Ampolla FC's Damaso Bizen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ampolla FC from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Roland struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Augusto Mel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampolla FC. When Ricardo Mendebal fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Margarita's protests and gave Ricardo Mendebal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Ricardo Mendebal got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Ricardo Mendebal came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Margarita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Mendebal couldn't finish the play. Damaso Bizen came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Margarita's Adolfo Dantae. But to his dismay, Adolfo Dantae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Mendebal was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ampolla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Mendebal came free, but Damaso Bizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adolfo Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Damaso Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A beautiful save bye Margarita's goalie prevented a goal. Ricardo Mendebal took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Bizen. Damaso Bizen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cristobal Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita's zone, Guaberto Roland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Mel came out of the goal and Guaberto Roland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Leocadio got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ampolla FC's Guaberto Roland managed to work through Margarita's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Guaberto Roland dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
