The supporters of Potrerillo AFC booed when Rufino AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Salamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Fernan Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rufino AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Sarracino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Salvidor kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Potrerillo AFC's goalkeeper Angelino Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Chuan. Fernan Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufino AFC's Fernan Sarracino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Dacio in the 28th minute of play forced Rufino AFC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Abel Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rufino AFC's Raimundo Salamon got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Rufino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Dacio came free, but Clodoveo Chago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Potrerillo AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fernan Sarracino 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Salamon in the 45th minute of play forced Potrerillo AFC's goalkeeper Angelino Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernan Sarracino to make the kick off. Iker Donostia struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Clodoveo Chago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrerillo AFC. In the 55th minute Eliseo Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rufino AFC's Tobias Soter got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 58 played minutes, Potrerillo AFC's Virgilio Jurgi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clodoveo Chago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Potrerillo AFC reached it. Angelino Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Sarracino in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 69th minute Eliseo Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Rufino AFC got a freekick which was hit by Placido Galsino. After 75 minutes, Simon Guillerme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rufino AFC and the Potrerillo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 74 minutes into the game, one of Rufino AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Potrerillo AFC's Virgilio Jurgi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Clodoveo Chago. Clodoveo Chago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Erroman in the 82nd minute of play. If Abel Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Erroman in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Chago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Chago having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Erroman in the 90th minute of play forced Rufino AFC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Macias hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Israel Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Urtats having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Potrerillo AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rufino AFC.
