Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Epifanio Lluques charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Epifanio Lluques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Epifanio Lluques hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Inocencio Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calchines's Albano Erdiano got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Calchines's Zeledon Frances got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Isidoro Peli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calchines's Julio Rosalio didn't even have to move. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chepes's goalkeeper Elias Cordarius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaime Obeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard and well directed shot from Rogelio Lertxun led 38 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Chepes's Elias Cordarius became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. When Enzo Asteri fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calchines's protests and gave Enzo Asteri a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Calchines got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Asteri. Julio Rosalio came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Chepes's Cleto Basualdo. But to his dismay, Cleto Basualdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleto Basualdo to make the kick off. Albano Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Elias Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cleto Basualdo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Rosalio was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Chepes's zone, Albano Erdiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Cordarius came out of the goal and Albano Erdiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Cordarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Erdiano in the 68th minute of the match. Elias Cordarius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Kelemen went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Chepes's Elias Cordarius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Erdiano in the 78th minute of play. Victorio Roano's late challenge caught a Calchines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Roano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chepes's Victorio Roano got a free kick in the 84th minute. Inocencio Kelemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Inocencio Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Obeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chepes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
