The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Lafinur:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pipinas FC:s goal. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 26th minute, where Pipinas FC:s Gaston Fernado tricked Lafinur:s Teo Etxahun with a difficult ball by the left post. After a rather tough play, Pipinas FC's Javier Santxol got a free kick in the 28th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Lafinur booed when Pipinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Alejo Gartzen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Leoiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Dabi's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pipinas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lafinur had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
