Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hernan Suarez got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lavalia's Desiderio Vigil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amancio Arixo. That made the score 1-1 after 8 minutes of play. Frontera's Amancio Arixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Frontera from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Hernan Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontera's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Suarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Socorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gilberto Abancens fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lavalia's protests and gave Gilberto Abancens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Gilberto Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes in the game, Mauricio Vargas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amancio Arixo having to interfere. Desiderio Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amancio Arixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Vigil in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Lavalia booed when Frontera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Mauricio Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gavino Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Emilio Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lavalia's zone, Gavino Montxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Socorro came out of the goal and Gavino Montxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mauricio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lavalia's zone, Gavino Montxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Socorro came out of the goal and Gavino Montxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Desiderio Vigil made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Lavalia got a corner. Frontera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natalio Dominguez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lavalia's Natalio Dominguez to fire away a dangerous shot which Amancio Arixo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Hernan Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Vargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Arixo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the game, Isidro Viator was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavalia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera the free kick. After 70 played minutes Lavalia got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Viator. Mauricio Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Arixo having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Gavino Montxo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lavalia's Emilio Socorro. Emilio Socorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavino Montxo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emilio Socorro firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 85 minutes of play Lavalia's Isidro Viator was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Lavalia's Isidro Viator got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lavalia's Emilio Socorro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Lavalia from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Lavalia's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Suarez came free, but Emilio Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Emilio Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Suarez struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Emilio Socorro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera. Emilio Socorro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Gavino Montxo sent off a good shot on target. The Lavalia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Frontera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
