Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Freddy Hechter came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Alderetes AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Hechter couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Emilio Asier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alderetes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mailín the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alderetes AFC's Emilio Asier got a free kick in the 11th minute. Nicolas Loiola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Shepherd in the 15th minute of the match. Reynaldo Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ulizes having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Mailín got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Jobo. Humberto Ezkerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Reynaldo Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alderetes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Nuxila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ulizes having to interfere. Nicolas Loiola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Shepherd went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hipolito Shepherd received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolas Loiola came out and tried to block the shot, but Hipolito Shepherd slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Shepherd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hipolito Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Bertin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. The referee gave Mailín a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baldomiro Joanes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alderetes AFC's Nicolas Loiola. 4-0. Humberto Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nicolas Loiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Luzaide during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Alderetes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Alderetes AFC booed when Mailín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Estavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mailín getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Guaberto Ur hit a great ball. Reynaldo Nuxila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Ulizes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th match minute, Mailín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Bembe to maneuver through the defense. If Reynaldo Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Loiola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Ezkerra in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Emilio Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alderetes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Asier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Ulizes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Ezkerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Loiola having to interfere. Mailín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
