Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hipolito Shepherd made the kick off and thus started the match. Gaspar Geleberto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Guiñazú's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joel Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Ezkerra in the 6th minute of play. Hipolito Shepherd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Inocente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Hugo Ulizes was a little too slow when Valentin Urtats got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. Valentin Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mailín's Nunez Ursino got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Valentin Urtats could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Hugo Ulizes however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Mailín's zone, Valentin Urtats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Ulizes came out of the goal and Valentin Urtats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Gaspar Geleberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mailín's Hugo Ulizes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hipolito Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Joel Inocente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Aristides Panpili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mailín booed when Guiñazú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Matai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guiñazú's Joel Inocente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Ezkerra in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Guiñazú getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ubaldo Tomi hit a great ball. If Humberto Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gaspar Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Geleberto was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Gaspar Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mailín getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nunez Ursino hit a great ball. When Gaspar Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Guiñazú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Geleberto couldn't finish the play. Humberto Ezkerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Joel Inocente made a huge save. Humberto Ezkerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Inocente having to interfere. If Humberto Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Urtats struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Hugo Ulizes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guiñazú. Guiñazú's Joel Inocente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Guiñazú from getting a goal against them. After 82 minutes of play, Guiñazú's Valentin Urtats made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Ulizes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hipolito Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Ezkerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Inocente having to interfere. Guiñazú had won after a very even match.
