Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hipolito Shepherd started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Ubaldo Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mailín's Humberto Ezkerra got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romulo Aznaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Ulizes came out and tried to block the shot, but Romulo Aznaro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Romulo Aznaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Jocolí FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Romulo Aznaro hit a great ball. Mailín's Hugo Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Aznaro in the 26th minute of play. Hugo Ulizes made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ubaldo Gines sent off a good shot on target. Humberto Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Saverio Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Hipolito Shepherd notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jocolí FC's Saverio Ibon. Saverio Ibon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Shepherd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Hipolito Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Jocolí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Shepherd came free, but Saverio Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nunez Ursino fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mailín's protests and gave Nunez Ursino a yellow card for diving instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Aznaro made a kick off. If Humberto Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Shepherd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saverio Ibon. That made the score 1-2 in the 57 minute of play. Mailín's Hugo Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Aznaro in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Aznaro in the 68th minute of play forced Mailín's goalkeeper Hugo Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ubaldo Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Ibon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Ezkerra went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Humberto Ezkerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saverio Ibon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Mailín's Nunez Ursino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Ibon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Jocolí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Estavan came free, but Saverio Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ulizes having to interfere. Hugo Ulizes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Aznaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mailín's zone, Romulo Aznaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Ulizes came out of the goal and Romulo Aznaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Mailín players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
