A collision led to Amanao AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jacinto Quintin hit a great ball. When Gilberto Pagomari came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Amanao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Pagomari couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Sayvion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Pagomari in the 19th minute. Benigno Gaspard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Umbruso in the 25th minute of the match. Americo Pacorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Gaspard having to interfere. Santos Urritz charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Urritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Amanao AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Urritz to maneuver through the defense. Americo Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benigno Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Weather hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Mel was the one to do the kick off. Amanao AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Americo Pacorro scored to the left of an out of position Benigno Gaspard, making the score, 1-2. 90 minutes into the game, Jonas Mel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Adolfo Sayvion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
