If Tomas Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The coaching staff of Maciel protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabricio Ezkerra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Maciel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Naipa:s goal. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 19th minute, where Naipa:s Federico Maura tricked Maciel:s Ariel Blai with a difficult ball by the left post. Ariel Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Tomas Bieito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ariel Blai, 2-0. Ariel Blai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Naipa had played much better football throughout.
