Adan Iago kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jonathan Diaz put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cayetano Cuartio. Amancio Azibar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Cuartio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Mamaguita's Edelmiro Bizi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mamaguita from getting a goal against them. Astor Truylos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cayetano Cuartio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Azibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 41st minute, Saturnino Rami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Azibar made a kick off. Edelmiro Bizi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Rami's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Escaya FC's Saturnino Rami got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 minutes of play, Escaya FC's Saturnino Rami made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Bizi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, Jonathan Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Escaya FC's Cayetano Cuartio got control of the ball when Jonathan Diaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Diaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Cayetano Cuartio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amancio Azibar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Escaya FC's Cayetano Cuartio got control of the ball when Jonathan Diaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Escaya FC's Angel Ramone got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
