Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pilahué's Timoteo Handi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Timoteo Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Hornillos got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Nisio. Hornillos's Cornelio Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Honorato Benvido fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilahué's protests and gave Honorato Benvido a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Honorato Benvido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Paz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Seguinus saved Pilahué from getting behind. In the 21stth minute of the game Modesto Gines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hornillos's Aquilino Porfiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Modesto Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pilahué booed when Hornillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Nisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hornillos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sergio Tome was slow to take the kick. During this time Pilahué's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pilahué's corner Sergio Tome fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aquilino Porfiro quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Timoteo Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilahué's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Handi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Porfiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Sein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Seguinus having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Aquiles Sein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 53 minutes, Robustiano Berart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilahué and the Hornillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Pilahué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Berart to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Seguinus having to interfere. Baltasar Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Sein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hornillos's Aquiles Sein got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pilahué's Sergio Tome got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Victoriano Paz made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Seguinus. Pilahué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Timoteo Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aquilino Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Hornillos got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Nisio. 82 minutes into the match, Pilahué's Timoteo Handi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquilino Porfiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Modesto Gines came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pilahué fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Gines couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Cornelio Larpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leopoldo Felo fell near the penalty area in the 100th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilahué's protests and gave Leopoldo Felo a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pilahué fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 100th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hornillos had won after a very even match.
