Hornillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Libertad FC the free kick. After having played for 12 minutes, Victoriano Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hornillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Paz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aquiles Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19thth minute of the game Fermin Satordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hornillos's Aquilino Porfiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Satordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Hornillos's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Satordi came free, but Aquilino Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Aquiles Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, one of Hornillos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hornillos. Aquilino Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Satordi in the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute of the match, Fermin Satordi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aquilino Porfiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Satordi was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Salvador Aurre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fermin Satordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aquilino Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fermin Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Satordi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Porfiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Fermin Satordi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hornillos's Aquilino Porfiro. Aquilino Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lino Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Theodore in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Porfiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes, Anacleto Beti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libertad FC and the Hornillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anacleto Beti hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hornillos's goalkeeper Aquilino Porfiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
