When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Robustiano Palben sped through Noetinger AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Milian. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arata AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Martxel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Noetinger AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arata AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Benvide was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Arata AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Mederi in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Martxel saved Arata AFC from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, Arata AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Mederi came free, but Gabriel Martxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
