The supporters of Borghi booed when Puelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Foro in the 7th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borghi's goalkeeper Pascual Frichoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosme Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Frichoso having to interfere. Alvaro Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bartolo Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Foro in the 31st minute of the match. Bartolo Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Filiberto Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Dino in the 35th minute of the match. If Alvaro Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Hernando showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute Cosme Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Christian Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borghi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Dino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Abreu's late challenge caught a Puelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Alvaro Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Modesto Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Cosme Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Puelo's goalkeeper Filiberto Hernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Dino. 91 minutes into the game, Bartolo Foro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filiberto Hernando. Bartolo Foro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Despite being the better team, Borghi failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
