After having played for 2 minutes, Carlos Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tosno AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlos Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Oskarbi's late challenge caught a Tornquist's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basilio Oskarbi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tosno AFC's Basilio Oskarbi got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nunez Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Urbes having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Tornquist's Nunez Oroitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jairo Urbes. Jairo Urbes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tornquist's Juan Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Atarratze in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Jairo Urbes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 28th minute of the match, Nunez Oroitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Urbes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Edelmiro Furman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 32nd match minute, Tornquist was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Joseph to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Carlos Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Atarratze took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Txeru. Juan Txeru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Juan Txeru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Niguel's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Atarratze made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Atarratze in the 55th minute of play forced Tornquist's goalkeeper Juan Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Tornquist was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Goyo to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Niguel struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Juan Txeru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tosno AFC. In the 62nd minute Nunez Oroitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Urbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Txeru made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Cristian Niguel sent off a good shot on target. Juan Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Atarratze in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Oroitz in the 74th minute of play forced Tosno AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Urbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tornquist defense, Cristian Niguel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Txeru. The Tornquist fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Txeru should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Cristian Niguel made a precise shot to the right of Juan Txeru. Tornquist's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Juan Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Atarratze in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Tornquist's Edelmiro Furman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Urbes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tosno AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
