If Raul Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Ampata's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Salvator came free, but Paulino Gotzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Gotzon having to interfere. Sarmiento AFC's Honorio Salvator got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Montay in the 15th minute of the match. Aureliano Rolado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobaldo Steven having to make a save. Aureliano Rolado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Teobaldo Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriana Felipo's late challenge caught a Ampata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriana Felipo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ampata booed when Sarmiento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriana Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ampata's Leopoldo Mitxaut couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sarmiento AFC. Raimundo Guter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Raimundo Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teobaldo Steven was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Sarmiento AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Honorio Salvator hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aureliano Rolado made the kick off in the second half. Raul Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aureliano Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Estebano during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Ampata a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leopoldo Mitxaut, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sarmiento AFC's Teobaldo Steven. 2-0. Aureliano Rolado scored 3-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teobaldo Steven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulino Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Salvator in the 69th minute of the match. Sarmiento AFC's Teobaldo Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Guter in the 72nd minute of play. Gilberto Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Aureliano Rolado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Steven. Sarmiento AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Rolado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Paulino Gotzon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Montay went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Gilberto Oton hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Paulino Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Salvator, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Salvator in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Gotzon saved Ampata from getting behind. Honorio Salvator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Rolado in the 98th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarmiento AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ampata.
