Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Higinio Haritz made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Haritz in the 9th minute of play forced Naranja FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Cordarryl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Matorrales's Higinio Haritz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Cordarryl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 28th minute, Geronimo Tano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matorrales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Higinio Haritz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edelmiro Cordarryl, 3-0. Cristian Nuno hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Geronimo Tano struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Edelmiro Cordarryl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matorrales. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Matorrales's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Ospetsu was slow to take the kick. During this time Naranja FC's players had a chance to rest. When Hipolito Guerrero got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Naranja FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Edelmiro Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Celedonio Ospetsu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dante Telmo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Geronimo Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Lidon in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Platon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Naranja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Haritz came free, but Edelmiro Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Geronimo Tano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Naranja FC's Dante Telmo got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute, Candido Lidon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Matorrales had won after a very even match.
