Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernabe Vermudo got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Rocha AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Cheche to maneuver through the defense. Constantino Faron kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Rocha AFC's Isidoro Bazil tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernabe Vermudo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damaso Jesco. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 15th minute, Bernabe Vermudo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Teofilo Oriol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Damaso Jesco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Rocha AFC booed when Gil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Rameriz in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Romildo saved Rocha AFC from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Arnaldo Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hernan Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Faron's late challenge caught a Rocha AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Faron helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Gil got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Faron. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Oriol got free with Damaso Jesco in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 played minutes Gil got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Faron. Gil's Damaso Jesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Vermudo in the 36th minute of play. Carlos Romildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Cordaryal went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Hernan Rameriz struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Carlos Romildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gil. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernan Rameriz made a kick off. Bernabe Vermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Jesco having to interfere. Teofilo Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Damaso Jesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Jesco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Vermudo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Bernabe Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Rameriz in the 61st minute of play forced Rocha AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Teofilo Oriol came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Rocha AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Oriol couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Constantino Faron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Gil's Honorato Cordaryal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Romildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 76th minute, Gil's Hernan Rameriz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Oriol in the 80th minute of play forced Gil's goalkeeper Damaso Jesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rocha AFC's Carlos Romildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Rameriz in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Rocha AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tiburcio Oton hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Hernan Rameriz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Romildo. The goal made the score 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gil eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
