Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cojango's Lázaro Elia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Iliana in the 6th minute of play. Inocencio Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Bautista in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Baldomero Iliana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lázaro Elia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Osvaldo Benino came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Toscas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Benino couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Cojango's Francisco Lizardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inocencio Vistruario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Toscas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Marquez to maneuver through the defense. If Francisco Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inocencio Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Ubelteso in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Iliana in the 47th minute of play forced Cojango's goalkeeper Lázaro Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lino Chico fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cojango's protests and gave Lino Chico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Lino Chico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Benino got free with Lázaro Elia in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Lizardi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lázaro Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Javier Bautista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Inocencio Vistruario made a huge save. Baldomero Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Elia having to interfere. Lázaro Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Javier Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Vistruario having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Francisco Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cojango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Lizardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Marquez hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Javier Bautista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Inocencio Vistruario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 83rd play minutes Osvaldo Benino shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Lázaro Elia and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 88th minute Baldomero Iliana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Elia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Benino in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Toscas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Lizardi came free, but Inocencio Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Benino in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Elia saved Cojango from getting behind. Elias Quinten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Elia. Cojango's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Toscas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cojango had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
