But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Haimar couldn't finish the play. Carolo Goyo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Pasillios's Aristides Brais couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Itín. A collision led to Itín getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Samuel Fonda hit a great ball. Honorato Evangelista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Eusebio Belarmo made a huge save. A collision led to Pasillios getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alberto Gabirel hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauricio Oskitz to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ruben Carlomagno fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pasillios's protests and gave Ruben Carlomagno a yellow card for diving instead. Itín's Marcos Milio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pasillios. Pasillios's Eusebio Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Evangelista in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Pasillios got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Estebe. Mauricio Oskitzs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Maximo Urko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maximo Urko made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Dario Haimar sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Itín's Cipriano Hanni got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Mauricio Oskitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maximo Urko, passed just outside the right post. Maximo Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Urko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Haimar in the 74th minute. Eusebio Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Alberto Gabirel's late challenge caught a Itín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Gabirel helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Pasillios got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gabirel. After having played for 80 minutes, Rosendo Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Tebaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Haimar got free with Maximo Urko in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauricio Oskitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Urko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauricio Oskitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximo Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Oskitz in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Itín's Honorato Evangelista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebio Belarmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mauricio Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dario Haimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Itín getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Carolo Goyo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Itín defense, Mauricio Oskitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Urko. The Itín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Urko should have stopped the shot.
