In the 15thth minute of the game Saul Arnalt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Concepción AFC's Oscar Gonzales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosendo Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Narciso Maule fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bermejo AFC's protests and gave Narciso Maule a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Bermejo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Maule to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Bertran in the 21st minute of the match. Oscar Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Bertran in the 29th minute of play. If Narciso Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes of play Bermejo AFC's Narciso Maule was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 39th minute, Narciso Maule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabian Hats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Arnalt to strike the kick off in the second half. If Saul Arnalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Concepción AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Rosendo Jaen hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Saul Arnalt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bermejo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fabian Hats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Viviano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Oscar Gonzales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Arnalt in the 78th minute. Saul Arnalt struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Oscar Gonzales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bermejo AFC. After a rather tough play, Concepción AFC's Cecilio Truylos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Concepción AFC's goalkeeper Oscar Gonzales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Arnalt. After having played for 91 minutes, Fabian Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepción AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Hats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Melquiades Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concepción AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Montay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Loramendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Hats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Bermejo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bermejo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
