If Filomeno Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haroldo Baldovino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Iturbe's Moises Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Guillen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Moises Francis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Filomeno Leoiar struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Filomeno Leoiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pastillos's Anibal Guillen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Filomeno Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pastillos booed when Iturbe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Licerio, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Filipo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Filomeno Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Iturbe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Leoiar couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Vladimiro Filipo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Eriberto Sotero to make any attempt to save it. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pastillos's goalkeeper Anibal Guillen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Jonatan Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Francis in the 77th minute of play forced Pastillos's goalkeeper Anibal Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Filomeno Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iturbe's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Leoiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Guillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Ugaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Iturbe's zone, Vladimiro Filipo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Sotero came out of the goal and Vladimiro Filipo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pastillos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
