In the 15th minute, Zeledon Goiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Goiz in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Joey saved Palma AFC from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Palma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Goiz came free, but Rafael Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rafael Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Goiz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th match minute, Palma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Manny to maneuver through the defense. When Humberto Bastian came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Palma AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Bastian couldn't finish the play. If Ildefonso Isaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palma AFC booed when Achuppallas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
