Albino Leobardo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Vladimiro Luzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañaritas. When Albino Leobardo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañaritas's protests and gave Albino Leobardo a yellow card for diving instead. If Albino Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Vladimiro Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guatraché! The referee gave Chañaritas a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victorino Ganix, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guatraché's Vladimiro Luzea. 1-1.

The wind increased when Carlos Colas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Chañaritas's Cleto Marko got a free kick in the 51st minute. Evelio Farias's late challenge caught a Guatraché's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Farias helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chañaritas! Tiburcio Montae walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After having played for 61 minutes, Justo Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatraché's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Innocenzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Maximo Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chañaritas's goalkeeper Jesus Merexildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Carlos Colas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chañaritas's Jesus Merexildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st match minute, Guatraché was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. Guatraché's Vladimiro Luzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Serafo in the 80th minute of play. The Chañaritas fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Chañaritas's Cornelio Serafo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vladimiro Luzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Chañaritas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
