The supporters of Sepultura AFC booed when Cayastá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Silviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Everardo Gudesteo made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Leonel Estebano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sepultura AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cayastá FC the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, Sepultura AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Estebano to maneuver through the defense. Fabricio Distiratsu came out of the goal and Fernando Remir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Tauro having to interfere. Everardo Gudesteo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Niceto Silviano got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
