An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Eli in the 3rd minute of play forced Sepultura AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Gaston Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Mouricio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Teodosio Oroitz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sepultura AFC's Eduardo Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Tano in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Sepultura AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Barea to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sepultura AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Tauro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Yucumanita AFC booed when Sepultura AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Rosendo Tano made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Tauro. Sepultura AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fernando Remir struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Joel Fernado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sepultura AFC. The Sepultura AFC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Sepultura AFC's Emilio Abancens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Eli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Joel Fernado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yucumanita AFC's zone, Emilio Abancens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Fernado came out of the goal and Emilio Abancens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, Geronimo Abastas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yucumanita AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sepultura AFC the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Yucumanita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Abastas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Yucumanita AFC's zone, Emilio Abancens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Fernado came out of the goal and Emilio Abancens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the game, Rosendo Tano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Eduardo Tauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eduardo Tauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Eli, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Geronimo Abastas was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Geronimo Abastas hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gaston Eli charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Eli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaston Eli kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
