In the 3rd match minute, Barrow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Urko to maneuver through the defense. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrow reached it. When Sara's Victorino Rioja in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrow's goalie prevented a goal. If Severo Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ermegildo Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Rioja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Barrow getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Erasmo Urko hit a great ball. Basilio Rudolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Severo Eguerdi made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Eguzki. Sara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrow's goalkeeper Ermegildo Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Sara's Victorino Rioja dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Eguerdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Basilio Rudolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrow's Ermegildo Ipar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Rudolfo in the 58th minute of play forced Barrow's goalkeeper Ermegildo Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sara's Ivan Eguzki got control of the ball when Amadeo Bastian tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Barrow's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Rioja came free, but Ermegildo Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Severo Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Rudolfo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Ipar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sara's Ivan Eguzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sara from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Eguerdi in the 76th minute of play forced Sara's goalkeeper Ivan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Sara's Victorino Rioja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Ipar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Amadeo Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Eguzki having to interfere. Victorino Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ermegildo Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Ipar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Rioja went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Severo Eguerdi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
