The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Victorino Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Hermengildo Domiku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Eguzki having to interfere. When Carmelo Quintana fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angélica's protests and gave Carmelo Quintana a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Angélica's Carmelo Quintana got a free kick in the 10th minute. Sergio Seme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Feliberto Domiku made a huge save. Victorino Rioja struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Feliberto Domiku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sara. Angélica's Feliberto Domiku proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Angélica from getting a goal against them. Sara's Victorino Rioja got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Domiku didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Feliberto Domiku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Seme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Angélica's goalkeeper Feliberto Domiku had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Rioja. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Bermudo in the 42nd minute of play forced Sara's goalkeeper Ivan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Victorino Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sara's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Domiku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Rioja made a kick off. If Aristides Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Eguzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Bermudo in the 59th minute. Hermengildo Domiku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Eguzki having to interfere. When Jeronimo Orixe fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the last second Ivan Eguzki throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hermengildo Domiku in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Angélica's zone, Victorino Rioja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Domiku came out of the goal and Victorino Rioja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Rioja succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When Jeronimo Orixe came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Angélica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Orixe couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Carmelo Quintana fired a really elegant long shot, but Ivan Eguzki threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After having played for 87 minutes, Generoso Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angélica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Bermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Angélica's Hermengildo Domiku slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Eguzki. That made the score 2-2 after 88 minutes of play. After 95 minutes, German Salomone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sara and the Angélica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Sara got a freekick which was hit by German Salomone. Angélica's Freddy Timo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sara. The Angélica players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sara from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
