Sebastian Ignado was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugalete FC's players had a chance to rest. After 15 minutes, Benigno Senon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mudana FC and the Portugalete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benigno Senon hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Marcelo Ruisko charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Ruisko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Marcelo Ruisko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifacio Olivar took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Artaldo. Guillermo Artaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 29th minute, Arsenio Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcelo Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mudana FC's zone, Marcelo Ruisko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Llope came out of the goal and Marcelo Ruisko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Ruisko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Llope having to interfere. Ladislao Cordario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Cheche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Llope having to interfere. The supporters of Mudana FC booed when Portugalete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Mudana FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the match, Mudana FC's Ladislao Cordario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Artaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nereo Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Evis in the 62nd minute of play. Bonifacio Olivar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Artaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Arnulfo Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Bonifacio Olivar made a precise shot to the right of Guillermo Artaldo. Portugalete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Marcelo Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nereo Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Ruisko in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Llope prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Portugalete FC's Guillermo Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Cordario in the 90th minute of play. Bonifacio Olivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Guillermo Artaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mudana FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
