Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fortuna AFC's Justo Blai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jorge Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Victor Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Rainerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Orkatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Victorino Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Cordarryl was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cantadero's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victor Rainerio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Victor Rainerio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Orkatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Victorino Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 94 minutes, Elias Gau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cantadero and the Fortuna AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Elias Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jorge Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
