The supporters of Monteagudo booed when Marquesado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Totakoxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Arnulfo Santiago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Ganix was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Vigil was the one to do the kick off. Marquesado FC's Severiano Ganix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Marquesado FC from getting a goal against them. Marquesado FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Alberto Peli scored to the left of an out of position Severiano Ganix, making the score, 0-4. Alberto Peli struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Severiano Ganix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monteagudo. 60 minutes into the match, Monteagudo's Alberto Peli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severiano Ganix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severiano Ganix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Peli's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Peli in the 63rd minute of play forced Marquesado FC's goalkeeper Severiano Ganix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Ganix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Marcial Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Braulio Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Abechuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Mauricio Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Marquesado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Virila to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Severiano Ganix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Monteagudo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Arnulfo Santiago hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Rojelio in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Ganix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cipriano Pagomari hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Marquesado FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Monteagudo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
