Pascual Jacindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the game, Luis Lesardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chumbicha AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arenales FC the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Chumbicha AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Lesardo to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Arenales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Lesardo came free, but Pascual Jacindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Viviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Valentin Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Chumbicha AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Remigio Kiliz hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Arenales FC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Elequemedo. Arenales FC's Pascual Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Lesardo in the 34th minute of play. Pascual Jacindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Lesardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luis Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Luis Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Jacindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Serapio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play Chumbicha AFC's Remigio Kiliz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 53rd minute, Remigio Kiliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arenales FC's Pascual Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Rayman in the 61st minute of play.
