If Elvio Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barreal FC's Isaias Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Gaizkine in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Olta's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Lauro came free, but Santiago Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Elvio Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Gaizkine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olta's Elvio Gaizkine got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Santiago Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Gaizkine in the 28th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Isaias Guerau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Barreal FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Osvaldo Sancho hit a great ball. Sebastian Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Otsando having to interfere. Santiago Otsando came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barreal FC's Teobaldo Lauro. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Lauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, Olta's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Amor came free, but Santiago Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Lauro to make the kick off. 61 minutes in the game, Teobaldo Lauro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Santiago Otsando having to interfere. In the 64th minute Elvio Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Guerau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Ranolfo came free, but Isaias Guerau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barreal FC's zone, Ovidio Ranolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Guerau came out of the goal and Ovidio Ranolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Elvio Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Ranolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Isaias Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Ranolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaias Guerau having to make a save. In the 83rd match minute, Barreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Lauro to maneuver through the defense.
