Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvestre Theodore kicked off to start the match. Ovidio Erroman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Sanchez in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Estevez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 9 minutes, Silvestre Theodore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaycurú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Theodore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Sanchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleto Estevez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Sanchez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Batavia FC's goalkeeper Cleto Estevez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cleto Estevez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Guaycurú FC's Silvestre Theodore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cleto Estevez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Ponciano during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Batavia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Theodore in the 22nd minute of play. Cleto Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Fausto Sanchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Estevez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Theodore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Estevez was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Fausto Sanchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleto Estevez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Sanchez ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Erroman to make the kick off. Ovidio Erroman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Fonda having to interfere. Guaycurú FC's Gervasio Fonda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Erroman in the 60th minute of play. Fausto Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Silvestre Theodore dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cleto Estevez, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Ponce in the 68th minute of play forced Guaycurú FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Fonda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Silvestre Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes in the game, Fausto Sanchez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cleto Estevez having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Silvestre Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Estevez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Theodore, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gervasio Fonda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Ponce in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Batavia FC's Ovidio Erroman made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Fonda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Theodore had several of the Batavia FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Cleto Estevez as he didn't even see the shot coming. With an all-out effort, Guaycurú FC's Cleto Estevez threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvestre Theodore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silvestre Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Estevez having to interfere.
