Porteña's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chucuma AFC the free kick. Matias Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Rico in the 14th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Dario Rico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Manilan. Porteña's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 17th match minute, Porteña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. Matias Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Baudelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Dario Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Venceslao was the one to do the kick off. Chucuma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Formerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Venceslao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Izel having to interfere. During the 85th minute of the match Robustiano Orti completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Robustiano Orti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Robustiano Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Dario Rico came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Chucuma AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Rico couldn't finish the play. If Dario Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
