After 5 played minutes Chinguillo got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Lawrence. If Guillermo Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Soldini AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Blai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Paz in the 17th minute of play forced Chinguillo's goalkeeper Roque Timo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Umbruso made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Guillermo Santikurtz sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Cristian Paz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roque Timo. Chinguillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Paz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mauricio Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Timo having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Cristian Paz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roque Timo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cristian Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Mauricio Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
With a little luck, Chinguillo's Roque Timo got control of the ball when Cristian Paz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inocencio Umbruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Santikurtz in the 65th minute of the match. Alejo Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 97th minute of the match Eulalio Lawrence completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eulalio Lawrence a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eulalio Lawrence hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Gavino Filipo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Soldini AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
