Alberto Seme made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Gogo Ederono sent off a good shot on target. After 9 played minutes Valenzuela got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Satordi. 10 minutes into the match, Valenzuela's goalkeeper Alberto Seme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Ederono. Eduardo Montxo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Serafin Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelarias 's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Odon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Seme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Americo Ricart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valenzuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelarias the free kick. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valenzuela! In the 21st minute, Gogo Ederono made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Seme. Valenzuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Valenzuela's Edelmiro Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Candelarias 's Esteve Hulberto got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Gogo Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Federigo in the 39th minute of play forced Valenzuela's goalkeeper Alberto Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alberto Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Candelarias 's Gogo Ederono sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Seme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Federigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Federigo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Gogo Ederono notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Valenzuela's Alberto Seme. Alberto Seme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Edelmiro Milian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arsenio Amor. That made the score 5-1 in the 66 minute of play. Ubaldo Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arsenio Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Gogo Ederono made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Seme. Valenzuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. If Diego Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candelarias 's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
