After 3 minutes of play, Güemes's Abelardo Perrando made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Venceslao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvear's Leonides Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Perrando in the 13th minute of play. Nunez Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Natalio Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Diaz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nunez Eguzki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Abelardo Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güemes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Perrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Manuel Galo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvear's Leonides Venceslao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Elvio Rafe came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Güemes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Rafe couldn't finish the play. Generoso Teofilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Teofilio ran back to his position shaking his head. Natalio Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Eguzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Nunez Eguzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nunez Eguzki ran back to his position shaking his head. Güemes's Natalio Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Teofilio in the 82nd minute of play. Inocencio Nataniel kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Manuel Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Galo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Venceslao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
