After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ezequiel Elodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escalante's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Elodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Jacindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Ugaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Escalante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Estefan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Pietro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Jacindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adan Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. Abelardo Rivas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The wind increased when Eliseo Mitxaut made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Escalante got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Panpili. The tension between the Temperley and the Escalante players grew even worse after the yellow card. 57 minutes into the match, Escalante's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Pietro came free, but Bruno Jacindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eliseo Mitxaut came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Escalante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mitxaut couldn't finish the play.
