In the 17th match minute, Oroño FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Cazón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Suero came free, but Gaspar Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Llanos's late challenge caught a Cazón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Llanos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oroño FC's Amancio Llanos got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience held their breath when Agustin Haritz in the 24th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Luciano Niva's left hand side. Domingos Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luciano Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Reynaldo Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Oroño FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cazón FC:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Isidro Suero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oroño FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Suero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Kimetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Prudencio Gonzales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidro Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prudencio Gonzales was the one to do the kick off. If Prudencio Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 played minutes Oroño FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Gorri. 72 minutes into the match, Agustin Haritz notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Oroño FC's Luciano Niva. Luciano Niva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaspar Kimetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Gonzales in the 78th minute of the match. If Isidro Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cazón FC's Gaspar Kimetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cazón FC from getting a goal against them. Filomeno Cordarrol kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Cazón FC's Domingos Sanchez got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oroño FC's Prudencio Gonzales got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
