Lucio Lain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Bernat's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Anastasio Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Pablo Luzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mercedes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacanana the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Mercedes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Luzea to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mercedes FC's Ulises Oinatz got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the game's 16th minute Sacanana's Fabio Bladi took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Lucio Lain and thus the score was 0-1. Teodosio Nastasio came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mercedes FC's Lázaro Maraman. But to his dismay, Lázaro Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Lázaro Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Maramans short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Teodosio Nastasio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lucio Lain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Ugaitz's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Sacanana's Teodosio Nastasio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sacanana from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Remigio Lucado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Maraman to strike the kick off in the second half. Lázaro Maraman struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Teodosio Nastasio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercedes FC. 58 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Padro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacanana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes FC the free kick. After 59 played minutes Sacanana got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Padro. In the 59th minute, Severiano Inocente sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sacanana's Teodosio Nastasio didn't even have to move. Leopoldo Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Leopoldo Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Ulises Oinatz made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Nastasio. Sacanana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Teodosio Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Maraman in the 70th minute of play. Teodosio Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Pastor Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Lain having to interfere. A collision led to Sacanana getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leopoldo Padro hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Severiano Inocente sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sacanana's Teodosio Nastasio didn't even have to move. If Pastor Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Ugaitz in the 95th minute of the match. Mercedes FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sacanana for a fine match.
