After a defensive mix-up in Transito's zone, Silvio Ordono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Ibañez came out of the goal and Silvio Ordono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Paulo Isusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Mederi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Montrelle in the 27th minute of the match. Silvio Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Lohitzun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Ibañez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Transito's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Gaxan came free, but Hector Ibañez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Transito's Cipriano Mederi threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ciro Montrelle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the game, Paulo Isusko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ideazabal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Transito the free kick. The supporters of Ideazabal booed when Transito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Ibañez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Transito had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
